AMERICAN TANGO - Level 401 (Intermediate/Advanced) – Lesson 2 of 4

American Tango is known for its dramatic style, smooth movement, sharp accents, and expressive character. In Level 401, dancers will focus on refining partner connection, improving precision, and developing confidence in more advanced patterns and styling. Learn the fundamentals of Country Two-Step in a fun and welcoming environment with Certified Instructor Denise Westbrook. This beginner-friendly class covers basic footwork, timing, partner connection, lead-and-follow techniques, turns, and simple traveling patterns. Students will build confidence on the dance floor while developing the skills needed to dance comfortably to a variety of country music.

CATWALK CLASS - Ongoing

Improve posture & presence. Learn to walk, pose, and express with confidence. Boost your stage presence and unleash your inner star with Certified Instructor Denise Westbrook ! This class is perfect for all levels, and you don’t need any modeling or dance experience—just a desire to strut with style!

LADIES’ TECHNIQUE,LEAD/FOLLOW CLASS – Ongoing

7:00 – 8:00 $18 or $9

In this class with Certified Instructor Denise Westbrook , you’ll learn the fundamentals of leading and following—how to guide with clarity, respond with sensitivity, and build a strong, confident dance partnership. By experiencing both roles, you’ll develop greater awareness, versatility, and control on the dance floor.

PARTY, PRACTICE, PUPUS AND CLASS

Practice with Denise Westbrook and let her offer advice. This is the most important event in the school. It gives everyone the opportunity to practice and commit to memory, everything we are working on in our lessons. It helps to bring back the details, some of which may have been underutilized.

BISDC’s class lessons are $18 per lesson as a walk-in. The purchase of at least 4 lessons at a time for $72 qualifies one as a member of our BISDC club, and club members enjoy the benefit of half-price lessons after the first lesson in any week.

Exceptions are the lessons taught by guest instructors or lessons outside the normal BISDC lesson structure, such as performance lessons or extended lessons.

Private lessons with Denise Westbrook are $85 for a 55 minute lesson. Bundles of 10 lessons are available for $800.
